About the NMR Center

Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) spectroscopy is a powerful technique used to identify structures and study various properties of small synthetic compounds, polymers, and small peptides. Our facility, located in Disque Hall, includes three instruments of various ability that allow a diverse set of experiments. The NMR instruments are used in many research groups around the university from the Departments of Chemistry, Chemical and Biological Engineering, and Material Science and Engineering as well as an outside small biotech firm ran by a Drexel alumnus.  The NMR facility contributes greatly to fostering research at Drexel.

The NMR facility provides assistance and advice to users in setting up appropriate experiments and interpreting data collected from the NMR instruments.
